A. Send yourself a password reset via email.
- From the sign in page select the Forgot password? link or click here.
- Enter your email address associated with your account and click the [Submit] button.
- Check your email inbox. If the email does not arrive in your inbox be sure to check your junk mail folder or spam filter.
- Click the reset link in that email.
- Choose a new password.
A. You can change your password at any time.
- From your logged in account, go to your "My Account" area.
- From the left hand menu, select "Account > Password."
- Enter your current password.
- Choose your new password.
- Save your changes by clicking the [Change Password] button.
A. If you are not receiving expected site emails, please check the following:
- Check your junk mail folder or spam filter for the missing emails.
- Make sure that your email address, in your account settings, is entered correctly.
- Verify that your email client, such as Outlook, is not in “offline” mode.
- If you use a POP3 connection to retrieve your email, please verify that the emails were not downloaded to a different computer.
If you are still not receiving our emails, please contact us.
A. You can change your email address by editing your account details within your “My Account” area.
A. Every user must select a username for their account. The username can only contain letters, numbers, underscores, and hyphens. We recommend replacing all [spaces] with either an underscore or hyphen.

Or, it says that the username selected is already in use.
Usernames are unique. Two users cannot share the same username. If you get a notice during registration that your username is already in use, you will need to select a different username.
A. If you get a notice that your email address is already in use when creating an account, it means that you have already created an account with us at some point. If you do not remember your login information, please enter your email address into the forgotten password form and you will be able to reset your password and log in to your account.
Q. What do I need to sell my car on RawAutos Auctions?
A. You will need a RawAutos Auction account, a valid Credit Card for the auction fee(s), valid email address, photos of your vehicle(s) and a description of your vehicle. Please also see our Terms & Conditions page for more detailed information. https://auctions.rawautos.com/page/vehicle
Q. Do you charge a Buyer/Seller fee or a percentage of the sale price?
A. RawAutos Auctions charges 3% of the sale price of the auctioned vehicle as a Buyers Premium, the seller only pays the Auction Fee associated with the specific auction they choose.
Q. Do I have to sign my car over to you to sell it?
A. No, you don’t need to worry about that.
Q. When my car sells, how do I receive payment?
A. Once an auction has ended the winning bidder and seller will receive each other’s contact information via email. We recommend that the seller send the buyer a photocopy of the title and a bill of sale prior to the buyer sending payment, and we recommend a wire transfer.
Q. Do I need to send you pictures?
A. No, you will need to upload photos of your vehicle to the auction or buy it now page associated with that vehicle.
Q. Do I have to upload a video(s)?
A. You don’t have to, but a video walk-around of your car can help it sell more easily. Make sure to show details both good and bad with your vehicle.
Q. Do I have to pay for a mechanical inspection on my car?
A. You do not. However, we do recommend it, and we offer the ability to use our trusted partner to have your vehicle inspected, photographed, and appraised (see https://auctions.rawautos.com/page/vehicle for more information on Certified Auctions). Note: You will not be able to have a reserve price on your auction if you do not complete the inspection service. You will still be able to add a buy-it-now.
Q. Do I have to pay for a membership?
A. You don’t have to pay for a membership to use RawAutos Auctions. If you are a volume dealer, we do offer a membership level depending on the number of cars you will be putting up for sale on RawAutos Auctions.
Q. Can the bidder request a mechanical inspection of a car?
A. Yes, you may contact the seller to ask for a vehicle inspection at your expense. Note, this must be done before you place a bid. Once you have placed a bid the seller does not have any obligation to offer extra terms.
Q. Can I, the bidder, ask for more photos or videos of a car?
A. Yes. By clicking the seller’s name under the auction title, you can send a direct message that will be e-mailed to the seller.
Q. How do I sign up to bid on cars?
A. Simple, click the Register/Sign in at the top right of our banner and input all required information.
Q. What happens after I bid on a car?
A. You will receive a confirmation e-mail with the details of your bid and next steps if you are the successful winner of the vehicle.
Q. How do I obtain more information about a car from the seller?
A. The username of the seller is in the listing. You can contact them at any time to request more information regarding the vehicle you are interested in.
Q. Are dealers allowed to auction cars here?
A. Yes, anyone can sell a vehicle on RawAutos Auctions.
Q. Can I retract a bid?
A. No. Once you have bid, you have to stick with it. A bid is a binding agreement to purchase a car.
Q. Can I end an auction early?
A. The only way to end an auction early is if someone pays the "buy-it-now" price.
How our fees work
The buyer of the vehicle will pay a 3% Buyer's Premium, or minimum of $250, on top of the amount owed for the car.
Here is a breakdown of what 3% will be for general understanding:
